At anchor in Hanalei Bay Kauai - 2002
Who is Ms. Glade? I began my teaching career at Burnaby North Secondary School as a student teacher in 1996. I've taught in three school districts and at 4 schools over the years. I was fortunate to be offered a job at North Delta Secondary School in September of 2014. I have received a wonderful welcome to ND and look forward to working with the students and staff for many years to come.
I love to:
- spend time with my family, friends and pets
- spend time in my garden and grow many tasty, colourful veggies and fruit.
- to cook and especially to create meals that include items that I've grown myself.
- to sew and have created many craft and clothing items over the years.
- spend time in the great outdoors and have had many adventures both on land and sea; near and far.
In 2001 I had the opportunity to live out one of my dreams. This was to do an offshore sailing adventure. I moved aboard a 42' sailboat that I called home for the next year. Over the year I traveled down the west coast of the United States, Mexico, crossing over the Hawaii Islands and then crossing back to BC the following year. Dream it. Do it. Live it.
